A performance game is a scene format that you can play in front of an audience and that hopefully they will find entertaining. Some games are considered to have more worth in THEATRICAL IMPROVISATION. For example "Stage Directions" get the performers focusing on the narrative of a scene and has great value in a show where the improvisers are struggling for stories. A "HOOP" game, (by it's very name) implies that it get's the improviser to jump through hoops like trained dogs doing tricks like "Switch the Accent" game... Little worth except to show a clever improviser. Sometimes a Hoop game CAN be useful in the RIGHT show at the RIGHT time.
