Purpose
This exercise teaches a storyteller when to extend a platform and when to advance action. For Storytelling.
How it is done
Form groups of two or three players. One tells a story, and the others control him with gestures.
A flat horizontal gesture means extend the platform. The storyteller should now describe the characters, the location, the setting etc. in more detail.
A pointing gesture means advance the action. The storyteller should bring up some change, by letting the characters act.
A heart-touching gesture means show emotion. The storyteller should tell how the characters feel.
