The Lenore Thomson Exegesis Wiki

Lenore Thomson

Author of Personality Type: An Owner's Manual.

This wiki is an attempt to explore and understand Lenore Thomson's ideas.

See also "Implications of Beebe's Model from a Neurological Standpoint", a discussion by Lenore of how John Beebe's notion of "complexes" that correspond to function attitudes might relate to different kinds of information processing going on in the brain. This article might shed a lot of light on how Lenore conceives of type, function attitudes, and how they relate and don't relate.

What type is Lenore?

INTJ.

I do see a huge Ni element in her writings. But I think that it is just the side effect of having to describe 16 different worlds view in a relative small and easy to read book. And she does use INTJs as examples often, that could be a shout out. But what particularly thing convinced you that she was an INTJ?

She used INTJ in her sig on the discussion lists where I first encountered her (psych-type). It's at: http://listserv.utk.edu/cgi-bin/wa?SUBED1=psych-type&A=1 --Ben Kovitz
