Happiness is, contrary to popular belief, a completely subjective thing. Nobody can tell you what Happiness is nor where to find it because "Happiness" does not exist as a thing in it's own right. There is only "your Happiness" and "my Happiness".
It's almost a cliche to say that "Money can't buy you happiness", but if you don't believe it, go to a poor rural village in Africa and count the smiles compared with any group of "rich-kids" in Europe or North America.
You don't find happiness. There is no treasure map you have to follow to "find" happiness. Happiness is a choice, you either choose to be happy or you don't.
Decide each morning that it's going to be a good day. Everyone has problems, decide that you will accept and deal with them as they come up. Your problems arise to allow you to triumph over them, learn and become stronger. Your problems and low-points serve to highlight, contrast and amplify the rest of your life. White looks so much whiter against Black. Who can enjoy drink who has never thirsted?
Life can be hard, mean, cold, lonely, brutal, disappointing, terrifying and harsh. It can also be beautiful, incredible, touching, hilarious, and full of love. It's your choice.
